Like any company, we enjoy sharing our good news. However, part of being transparent is also sharing our disappointments.
We are announcing that the Eureka III test, scheduled with BGR, will not be ready for early 2026, necessitating a postponement. We are looking forward to a continued partnership with BGR and discussing with them updated timelines to conduct this test.
Despite this setback, BGR and Impossible Metals agree that the EIS consultation period should continue. The momentum for deep-sea mining has never been stronger, and our mission with Impossible Metals remains to develop a revolutionary approach to collecting critical minerals. We appreciate the time and effort of stakeholders contributing their input to this EIS, which we know will create a more robust EIS and ultimately support our mission. Webinars will continue this week, and written comments can be submitted until March 4.
